It's time to admit defeat... back to Weight Watchers I go.

I’ll think of you at the Monday meeting, Zev. You’ll make it, mi amigo.

I’m lucky that my overactive metabolism doesn’t require this, but my wife’s does. She got her life time membership in New Jersey between kids, and has gone back, and has lost 35 pounds - didn’t even gain much over the holidays. My daughter went with her and just hit her goal weight and got her lifetime.

The recipes now are a lot better than they were 18 years ago when she did it the last time. I eat what they eat (no portion control) and have lost 5 pounds in sympathy.

Good luck, but we’re convinced that WW is the only plan that really works.

Thats not close to defeat, defeat is when you end up 20 lbs heavier than you were before you started dieting. You lost 92 pounds in 11 months and regained 40 pounds in 18 months. You are/were losing weight at about 4x the rate you are regaining it. With luck you’ll be down to 155 in 4-5 months.

Fans of Weight Watchers should be encouraged by this: Only Weight Watchers had strong documentation that it worked in the news recently.

I’ll be going back soon. After losing 30 pounds last year, on my own, I gained it all back, plus the friends it brought. I’m in no position to be this overweight. I have a lousy family history of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, plus, I have my own health concerns, like PCOS and a heart arrhythmia. It’s time to get back on the wagon.

Wish me luck.
