Actually fifty to a hundred years back would suit me fine, for apart from technological advances in electronics and medicine, and with all things considered, it was a vastly superior time. But I digress. People have been tilling the soil and harvesting crops for at least ten thousand years and perhaps as many as twenty-five thousand years. Plus, the entire world didn’t wake up one morning, slap their heads and say, “Damn! That Aristotle, what a guy! How could I have been so stupid!? Looks like the world is round after all!” :smack: All of which is beside the point because **Guin’s** cite was focused on the Middle Ages.
