Other than the fact that the information came out as a result of the trial, my post had nothing to do with Sandusky, per se, and everything to do with what Paterno and other Penn State officials knew (and possibly lied repeatedly about). This thread is the appropriate place to put it and, in fact, it would have been a hijack in a Sandusky-focused thread. So kiss my ass, a’ight? ---

First, the news was out there for two days before I even started the thread. I haven’t added to the thread in I don’t know how long (months?). Talk about protecting anonymity. And yes, I think it’s reasonable to assume that Paterno and others knew more about Sandusky than they let on. Well, let me put it this way, if you insist on getting a concession from someone that already offered one, then the problem is you for continuing to demand it. In other words, if you are not willing to continue with the pit at hand it is more clear that you have nothing much of a reason to continue then. And you are here just annoyed at the ones pointing only that the pedo trolls already left a huge turd in the bowl, I’m just saying: be my guest and continue drinking from it, I have other more important issues with racists right now in another thread. ---

okay I came here as I googled how a 6’3" man with his arm around said boy with his hands up against wall can bugger a small ten year old? Despite that this kind of horsing around is not appropriate, it isnt illegal . Being caught is that position would cause most men to be stunned and a need to clarify what was going on. That being said the whole story being swept away gives cause to believe perhaps more was going on but does not prove or dispell the myth. As in all highly charged sex abuse cases the rampant need to judge like in the McMartin case is society’s need at large to condemn before facts are given. Prurient and sideshow antics facilitate guilt by association, hence the mob wants to distant themselves by repudiating the possibility of innocence,so in fact not wanting to be complicit in the act themselves. We might as well Pin a large M on Sandusky as did the mob in the Scarlet letter pinned an A on that poor woman. It seems that we have regressed and succumbed to mob mentality due more to instant information whether fact or hypothesis. In so many books written before the age of information we were warned not to do this as it will lead us down a path that will lead us into chaos and the Information Dessiminators contolling our every thought. The law will prevail as it is by nature unbiased however we are a community of men that hail from the dark ages of Inquisitions that I thought were far behind us.
