**Guinnypoo** , dear, please! Calm down and see if you can somehow gain control of your senses, such as they may be. The only person I’ve defended is Joe Paterno. With regard to the pedophile, all I’ve defended is due process. You people were quick to jump to the conclusion that McQueary happened upon anal rape in the shower that night, and you used that conclusion to heap villification upon villification onto Joe Paterno, claiming he knew all about it, how long it had been going on, and had intentionally allowed it to continue for the next ten years. Trouble is, the whole thing was built on a house of cards and there wasn’t a word of truth to any of it…not even the rape! So for whatever Sandusky really did do, and can be proven in a court of law, fine, throw the book at him. I’m behind that 100%. But don’t expect me to jump on board the crazy train and act for all the world that he’s guilty of a crime he didn’t commit just because he’s a bad guy and you want to pretend Joe Paterno knew about it and covered up for it. If that costs me respect on this board, it’s a sacrifice I’ll happily make. ---

You do know that Sandusky was already tried and convicted, right? The book was thrown at him. You seem to be talking as if he has not been tried yet. He was. He is guilty. Wouldn’t it be really fucking strange if this is the one kid Sandusky showered with and didn;t rape? And McQueary reported it as a “sexual act” to Joe “Shitface” Paterno, but lied about what he saw. But it turned out that Sandusky was actually a rapist! Wow! What are the chances of accusing a guy of being a rapist for the Hell of it, and having him turn out to actually be a rapist! Maybe I should ask McQueary what numbers he thinks will win the Powerball this week. ---

I don’t see how that’s “in regard to a point of law.” You were not arguing about some technicality. This wasn’t about the elements that would need to be proven by the prosecution in court, or whether the charge could be sustained without a complaining witness, or anything like that. You said that he could not, and therefore did not, commit the act. That is not a point of law, that is a defense of Sandusky’s actions. ---

However my main objective was to show that according to McQueary’s testimony a conclusion of anal rape could not logically be drawn. ---
