I think we can all agree that this _thread_ has given enough. I’m inclined to say the _story_ has also given enough. But I haven’t applied the ‘Paper Towel Tube Test’ to it, yet, so I remain agnostic on the subject. Perhaps **SA** will weigh in, and enlighten us. Can this thread, or this story, squat low enough to give us more? What do the ‘Paper Towel Tube’ physics reveal? ---

One. Year. Later. To the day. Observation: The fact that people are no longer disputing the information presented in [John Ziegler’s excellent documentary](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3z-3CBfM8Q) leads me to believe that people are starting to understand that this isn’t a story about a\* football coach\* killing allegations of child rape to protect the brand of his football program. There is a much bigger story waiting to be told, but the football coach was used as a scapegoat. Is that reasonably fair and accurate to say? FWIW, my absolute favorite moment of the documentary comes up at the 18-minute mark. ---

I guess you’d argue that since nobody has disagreed with the [time cube guy](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Cube) for a while, that they’re starting to accept his theories. ---

At the very least, if Paterno was being used _effectively_ as a scapegoat, then living people would not now be under indictment - they’d have escaped further legal trouble by blaming it all on the conveniently-dead Paterno. ---
