Yeah, I downloaded the iTunes Store, and I’ve been having quite a bit of fun with it. But today I noticed a thing that says “Geun Lee’s Music”. I clicked on it, thinking it was the featured music or something, but it appears to be someone else’s library of songs. I don’t want this stuff on my computer, obviously. If I right-click on the icon, the only option I get is to disconnect it. But that doesn’t make the library disappear. How can I delete this stuff?

It’s not on your computer. iTunes automatically discovers shared music libraries over the network. Are you at work, school, or otherwise on a network with multiple users?

Whatever it was, it’s gone now.

**Cleophus** : Yeah, I’m on my college’s network.

It disappeared, then reappeared. So now I’m all 😕.

**Cleophus** : Yeah, I’m on my college’s network.

I’m not sure about the PC version, but in the Mac version you can go into the preferences, choose the “Sharing” tab and uncheck “Look for shared music” if having other people’s music collections pop up bothers you.

You may also want to check to see if yours is being shared, but I’m fairly certain that’s off by default.

I unchecked that and it disappeared :). Thanks a million. (Though now that I know it’s not spyware or music stealers or something, I think I’ll turn it back on.)

If you’re on a network, all you are doing is streaming that music on your computer. You don’t actually have the files on your computer.
