I’d expect Trump not to give a damn about his first wife’s grave - I imagined him snickering about burying her at a golf course - but the woman had three adult children who aren’t hurting for cash. Where the hell are they?? ---

I’m also wondering why Trump had anything do to with her burial. It’s not common for an ex-spouse to be involved in the burial aspect of of their previous spouse. He didn’t have to spend any money if the didn’t want to because he normally shouldn’t have had any involvement anyway. Regardless, if he agreed to have her buried on his property, then he should have maintained it properly. Maybe he just agreed for the brownie points and then completely forgot about it. ---

She’s Czech but that was harsh dude! Everything about her death and burial was very very strange. It’s hard to imagine that could be her stated wish for a final resting place. Shame on them all! ---

[Of course dollar signs are involved.](https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/ivana-trump-buried-bedminster-3-theories.html) Trump originally planned to build a windowless structure that could first be used as a wedding chapel and then turned into a mausoleum, where six of the Trumps would be interred. (No word on which six.) Naturally, the structure was going to be gaudy and would have giant obelisks (to make up for Trump’s micro–eh, never mind, too easy), so locals objected. His next brainstorm was to turn part of the property into a 1,000-grave cemetery. What golfer _wouldn’t_ want to be interred there? Again, he was rebuffed. The most recent plan is to have a 284-grave cemetery and a separate, ten-grave cemetery for the family around Ivana’s gravesite. As to why the Trumplets would want mommy interred there, it might be daddy’s influence. He bought the property long after dumping Ivana but has often raved about its beauty, and Ivanka was married there. For The Donald, one grave down, 300 to go. I bet when plans for the cemetery go through, the grave will be tidied up so brochures can gush about the incredible grave care. ---

Where do you suppose he has made plans to be buried? I imagine he has drawn up plans for an enormous mausoleum on that site, gaudy and gold-plated and absurdly oversized, with Ivana a mere afterthought. ---

I happened to catch [this video](https://youtu.be/OVMaNvo9IQ4?t=53) a few days ago in which it’s mentioned that the family of the deceased has visitation rights to the area where they’re scattered, in perpetuity. I don’t know how wide spread it is or if it covers non-cremated burials, but when I heard it the thought crossed my mind that maybe he buried her where he did so he could keep going back. Though I suspect it was just cheap and convenient and little more than that. ---
