I’ve had it with these damned things. They hardly ever fit right. The straps fall down, the strapless ones are too tight, they don’t accommodate fluctuations of any kind, the straps peek out, the part that goes under the arm may be visible if I’m wearing a tank top, I hate sweating in them in hot weather, and I don’t even know why I bothered wearing them for so many years. If I go braless from now on, will people stare? Possibly. Will I care? Very, very little. ---

Doesn’t that (not wearing bras) lead to excessively saggy mammaries in the long term? Otherwise, I think I can speak for all mankind when I say, “thank you!” 😉 Having to take off my partner’s bra is definitely one of the most annoying things about sex, IMO. I mean, not that it’s absolutely necessary, but leaving clothes on, including the bra, certainly seems to detract from the experience. ---

I always thought bras were supposed to make breasts feel more comfortable, but if going braless works for you, I support that. ---

Judging from the few occasions I’ve seen old-lady boobs, on old ladies that presumably wore bras for 40 years, bra-wearing doesn’t help sagging. Bras do hold them up once they sag, but they can’t stop gravity. If I’m not wearing something transparent I can go braless pretty easily, unless I’m having one of those days where hormones make 'em sore. Then I need the support to keep them from hurting as much when I move. ---

I hate bras, too. It’s the first thing to go when I get home. Unfortunately, I can’t go braless at work. I’d be too embarassed! I’m a 44DD. But I go braless a lot at home, and to the store, or whatever. Sagging? Too late! I’m 45. But my husband thinks they’re still pretty enough! 🙂 ---

Heck, I’ve gone braless for… um… about 35 years now. Quit wearing the damned things when I was an A cup. I’ve expanded over the years to a B+ but never gone back, even to the sports bras. I still don’t sag much, and I’m perfectly comfortable even when riding my horse. Yes, including at the trot. Feels just fine, thankyouverymuch. I’m so glad to be small-busted and have a choice in the matter. ---

This thread reminds me of a conversation I had with my mum a few months ago. Mum - _Looks at me_ Are you wearing a bra? Me- Yes Mum - Then you need a better one. Me - Thanks mum. :rolleyes: I’m 19 years old and a B cup. What exactly is she trying to imply? Of course, this is the same women who walked into my room. Said “God! That top looks hideous on you!” Gave me a look like I was the most disgusting thing she’d ever seen, then walked out of the room. I could go on. But it’s quite depressing so I’ll stop. ---

Ladies, two words . . . sports bra. I’ve been wearing the soft, comfy sports bras for years now, and I’ll never go back to those evil wire contraptions again. They sell all types of them. Some look almost exacly like regular bras, but without the discomfort. The one I have on now (purchased from The Gap) has spaghetti straps and is made of a soft nylon-type material whic provides support, but can’t even be felt once it’s on. I have others in cotton. They come in all colors, styles and materials. Give 'em a try. You might like them. ---
