In general, we like to talk about facts, as non-factual premises cannot lead to real-world conclusions. Since you admit you have none, you shouldn’t be surprised when you got no discussion. Try talking about something factual and then you can compare your results. ---

neo, we have different fora for topics that are – err, ahh – factually challenged. MPSIMS and IMHO are perhaps better suited to your style of stream of consciousness opening. If you offer your premise there and an actual debate should break out (and I’m not laying any bets) a mod will move the thread to GD. ---
