Before Bush, I never missed a presidential speech if I could help it. Even bad presidents like Nixon and Reagan. But with this guy, it’s just too painful. Good riddance, you useless bag of gas. **Bryan Eckers** Assuming you truly want an answer to that question, it’s easily found in[Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Galt). In Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” John Galt serves as a counterpoint to the social and economic structure depicted in the novel. The depiction portrays a society based on oppressive bureaucratic functionaries and a culture that embraces the stifling mediocrity and egalitarianism of socialistic idealism. Well that’s my opinion. Bush is doing the world of comedy a severe disservice by leaving office. It’s a shame that standup comedians the world over are going to be deprived of such rich material. Couldn’t Georgie have issued a signing statement or something making himself emperor for life so we could all watch him grow old together?
