Physical Therapy might be a good choice - medical professions are in high demand and getting higher as the baby boomer blip ages. Also, you would be able to interact with many, many people and can get lots of stories from them about real life, which will enrich your writing. And you can use down time between appointments to write.

I also suggest you take a class or two in those fields you don’t think you are “smart enough” to do. You might just surprise yourself.
