Part of our job as moderators is to write Staff Reports when time permits. I’ve always been a slacker because I’m lazy by nature and because I’m not an experienced writer, plus I have the fear that the smarter Dopers will find all kinds of inaccuracies in my Staff Report.
But finally, after much (nagging) encouragment from C K Dexter Haven, I have written my first Staff Report! I’m even inspired to tackle some more. It’s not as difficult as one would think. I suffered from the common beginner’s mistake of using five words where one will do, but Mr. Ed trimmed out the fluff and added a much needed conclusion. So now I am a published author!
