Yeah! It took me two months or so but I finally found and purchased a sleek new JD Razor Scooter. It’s got front suspension, a wheelie bar, flashing lights…Woo! And it rides so smooth. Haven’t fallen. Yet. 🙂 Some of the kids around here have scooters too but _I’m_ the only with the **JD Razor** (the latest model). Ok…so I’m a dork. I know. But…but…it’s so much fun! ---

Filthy, sorry about your grandkids. Yeah, the majority of injuries from the scooters have happened to children. The scooters look like kids’ toys but they can be dangerous too. I (_points at self proudly_) am no little kid…though I still act like it on occasion. Like…er…goofing off on my newest toy and riding it in the hallways of my office. 🙂 bouv…nyah nyah! When we were kids, in my old neighborhood, only the little loser boys had scooters. 'Cause they couldn’t ride bikes. :wally ---

Howdy Zette, It’s foot-powered. And dag nabit, my leg is tired! No lie. You carry all your weight on one leg, balance on the other when you have enough speed…works your inner thighs and upper leg. I’ve tried switching legs but I can’t balance as well on my left. I wanted a Zappy at first, (the motorized scooters) but those run between $400 and $600. _sigh_ oh well. My Razor will do. I just need to add a Billy Bass to the handlebars and I’ll be _so_ stylin’. 😉 ---

I had a scooter in the 60s! Those were fun, with much larger wheels.
