A fascinating post about a couple of old war photographs can be found [here](http://morris.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/09/25/which-came-first-the-chicken-or-the-egg-part-one/). I’m interested enough in the outcome of the investigation, but the issues raised and the rhetorical techniques used in the piece are even more interesting.

Apologies if someone’s already linked to this, but I couldn’t see it. Not sure whether it’s right for this forum either, but putting it in GQ would have been provocative. 😃
