Inasmuch as I could ever approve of the Pitting of a six-year-old murder victim, I agree with the OP. It’s not the girl’s fault, obviously. I blame the media for wasting so much time on the case, and on her parents for murdering her. (I’m kidding.) I also agree that JonBenet is a stupid name. So is “Boulderado.” Beauty pageants for six-year-olds are even worse. The whole idea is soul-shakingly gross. ---

But to answer your question - beats me. Whether women are EVER meant to be so overly made-up is an open question, but I know that six-year-olds aren’t. Forget barely legal, these kids are barely _born_, and it makes me nauseous to see them displayed in such an obviously sexual way. How is that attractive - or forget attractive, let’s say “not disgusting” - in any way to any person pretending to be of sound mind and normal sexual preference? And beyond that, how does any parent get their child into it? ---
