Pending a background check that won’t find anything wicked, I am going to have a job as a Field Investigator with [United States Investigation Services](http://www.usis.com), a privatized group that does background checks for many offices in the Federal Government. This is such a huge weight off my shoulders, to know that when I graduate in May, I won’t be joining the unfortunately unemployed. And to share a moment of synchronicity, I came back from the phone call and my MP3 player had just changed to a new song on random mode. Any federal employees have experience with USIS interviewers they’d wish to share? Give me an idea what to emulate, what to avoid? ---
