I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s passing. Rats are sweet little creatures, and it’s really a shame that their lifespans are so short.
I lost my beloved kitty to cancer in August, and like you I was comforted by the fact that the last thing she felt in this life was the warmth of my arms. I’m sure your Lola’s passing was eased by the fact that she spent her last moments with the person she loved the best.
Sweet little ratty. That’s the one big down side to rats, they don’t last long. Goodbye little Lola.

butter pie, I know my vet does cremations…I’m going to see how much it costs. I was going to bury her, but Lola was a FAT rat, and she’s in a rather large box…and I only have a little trowel to dig with…and I live in an apartment so I’d have to bury her in some woods by my place. A lot of trouble to go to.
