# I've never read LOTR.  Will I like the movie(s)?

He’s going to have use-it-or-lose-it time on the order of \*weeks \*at the end of the year, so he’ll probably be coming out for a nice chunk of time. Given that there are certain places I prefer to avoid friction burns, it’s wise to have a reasonable amount of variety among planned activities. 😃
