I've seen fire and I've seen rain 2 (Part 1)

Why don’t you reach out and touch somebody’s hand?
Make this world a better place if you can
Reach out and touch somebody’s hand
Make this world a better place

Brothers! I say, Brothers!

Now you got yourself two good hands.
And when your brother is troubled,
you gotta reach out your one hand for him –
'Cause that’s what it’s there for.

And when your heart is troubled,
You gotta reach out your other hand.
Reach it out to the Man up there –
'Cause that’s what HE’S there for…

-“BB”-

When you’re down and troubled
And you need some loving care
And nothing, nothing is going right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night

You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I’ll come running
To see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I’ll be there
You’ve got a friend

You don’t have to sit around
Complaining 'bout the way your life has wound up
So be a man you know you can’t be certain
That you’ll lose until you try
You don’t have to sit around
Complaining 'bout the way your life has wound up
So be a man you know you can’t be certain
That you’ll lose until you try, so give it a try

I will take my life into my hands and I will use it
I will win the worship in their eyes and I will lose it
I will have the things that I desire
And my passion flow like rivers through the sky

Take me to church
I’ll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I’ll tell you my sins, and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Oh good God, let me give you my life

I’m gettin’ married in the morning.
Ding, dong, the bells are gonna chime.
Pull out the stopper, we’ll have a whopper –
But get me to the church on time!

-“BB”-

Everybody’s at the church
When Horace rushes in and says,
“Now here comes my wife
For the rest of my life”
And she did

Don’t be afraid, just knock on the door
While he just stood there mumblin’, a-fumblin’
Then a voice from above
Said,
“Horace Wimp, this is your wife
Go out and make yourself a life
Take a stand and be a man
And you will have a great life planned!”

When I found he’d left me in the lurch.
Lor, how it did upset me!
All at once, he sent me round a note
Here’s the very note, this is what he wrote:
"Can’t get away to marry you today,
My wife, won’t let me!

On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They do things that they don’t do on Broadway
They have the time, the time of their life
I saw a man, he danced with his wife in Chicago

Your trophy wife
I know they wander
And find a young young man
You trophy wife
I know they wander
And find a young man
Your trophy wife
I know they wander

I love to go a-wandering,
Along the mountain track.
And as I go, I love to sing,
My knapsack on my back.

-“BB”-

I love to sing-a
About the moon-a and the June-a and the spring-a
I love to sing-a
'Bout a sky of blue-a, or a tea for two-a
Anything-a with a swing-a to an I love you-a
I love-a to, I love-a to sing

Don’t worry that it’s not
Good enough for anyone
Else to hear
Just sing, sing a song
{Just sing, sing a song}
Just sing, sing a song

Softly, deftly, music shall surround you
Hear it, feel it, closing in around you
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night

I can hear music
I can hear music
The sound of the city baby
Seems to disappear, oh when
I can hear music
Sweet sweet music
Whenever you touch me baby
Whenever you’re near

Nobody stopped to hear him
Though he played so sweet and high
They knew he had never
Been on their t.v.
So they passed his music by
I meant to go over and ask for a song
Maybe put on a harmony…
I heard his refrain
As the signal changed
He was playing real good, for free

And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings

Feelings, for all my life I’ll feel it
I wish I’ve never met you, girl
You’ll never come again
Feelings, whoa, oh, oh, feelings
Whoa, oh, oh, feel it again in my arms

For all time
Looking for something to remind me
Something out of the corner of my eye
Why can’t I feel it
Why should I try
