I've seen fire and I've seen rain.

Now the time has come
There’s no place to run
I might get burned up by the sun
But I had my fun
I’ve been loved and put aside
I’ve been crushed by the tumbling tide
And my soul has been psychedelicized

Strobe lights flashin’ way till after sundown
People gather there from all parts of town
Oh yeah, what do I call it
You know it’s just across the track
People I’m talking about the psychedelic shack

Me and my mate were back at the shack,
We had Spike Jones on the box,
She said “I can’t take the way sings, but I love to hear him talk”.
Up on Cripple Creek, she sends me. If I spring a leak she mends me…

Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, everywhere.
There’s bunnies on the table and there’s bunnies on the chair.
Bunnies on the sofa and there’s bunnies on the floor,
And there’s some new ones coming through the door: more?!

Here comes Peter Cottontail,
Hoppin’ down the bunny trail,
Hippity, hoppity,
Easter’s on its way.

Let’s go to the hop, oh baby
Let’s go to the hop

He rocks in the tree tops all day long,
Hoppin’ and a-boppin’ and singing his song,
All the little birdies on Jaybird Street
Love to hear the robin go tweet, tweet, tweet!

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were always waiting for this moment to arise

Touch your lips with a magic kiss
And you’ll be a bluebird too,
And you’ll know what love can do. I’m a bluebird.

I’m a bluebird, I’m a bluebird, I’m a bluebird
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

In the sky a mighty eagle
Doesn’t care 'bout what’s illegal
On its wings the rainbow’s light
It’s flying to eternity

Eagle fly free, let people see
Just make it your own way
Leave time behind, follow the sign
Together we’ll fly someday

All of her days have gone soft and cloudy, all of her dreams have gone dry.
All of her nights have gone sad and shady, she’s getting ready to fly.
Fly away,
Fly away,
Fly away.

I’ll fly away, oh glory
I’ll fly away in the morning
When I die, Hallelujah by and by
I’ll fly away

I’m looking for a complication
Looking 'cause I’m tired of trying
Make my way back home
When I learn to fly (high)

I try to move my arm
And there’s no feeling
And when I look
I see there’s nothing there
The face beside me stopped it totally bleeding
The girl I knew has such a distant stare
I remember
We were flying along
And hit something in the air

Girl we made it to the top,
We went so high we couldn’t stop,
We climbed the ladder leading us nowhere–
Two of us together, building castles in the air.

Two of us going nowhere,
Spending someone’s hard earned dough…

I was walking into town in my white bucks
A man with a gun, he said hands up
I tried to get away but too slow
He got me and took all of my dough
I heard him shout
As he cut out
Well you ain’t lost nothing
What you crying about?

I just spent 60 days in the jailhouse
For the crime of having no dough
Now I’m back out on the street again
For the crime of having nowhere to go…

One time I spent a week inside a little country jail
And I don’t guess I’ll ever live it down
I was sittin’ at a red light when these two men came and got me
And said that I was speeding through their town

Once I got locked up in a dirty old jail
And the coffee was cold & the cornbread was stale
And I didn’t cry. I tried to be brave
Till the warden tried to give me a haircut & a shave

Warden you can hold me for a year in your jail
But don’t shave off my beard. Don’t cut my ponytail.
