I like how the “author” felt it was important to expend what appears to be all of their creative resources to change the interviewee’s name from “Mary Lou Gertz” to “Tonya Johnson”. Because it’s just not comedic enough to make fun of stupid, lazy people unless we include a little chirp from our dog whistle. ---

Dude, when you post something under your own moniker, you’re taking credit for it, whether you think so or not. All that was needed was a byline that stated the source. The irony of all this comes from the content of that from which you plagiarized. “Non-abled” indeed… grow some originality, or stay out of the “Post New Thread” box (or “Reply” box for that matter). ---

As I said way upthread (which most of the posters here seem to have missed in their childish rage – even I can laugh at Republicans and myself), I got it by email and posted it exactly as I got it. I guess I am rather flattered that so many of you thought I was capable of coming up with something like that on my own until you found out about the Onion parody, still the difference between it and anything else I’ve ever posted here would also have given me reason to think no one would assume I wrote it. Anyway, chill, you guys. I was in a playful and humorous mood last night and actually believed some of you might find it amusing, in a laugh at yourselves kind of way. I should should have known better. ---

I think people are coming down a little too hard on **Starving Artist**. He should have explained where he got the OP, but on a scale of transgressions that’s not enough to really stir my ire.
