A recorded deed for the house that has only my name on it, and not the bank’s name. An ATM card and PIN for Warren Buffett’s checking account would be nice as well. ---

I wouldn’t want anything for myself (except, well, see _). Build my friend [Happy Rhodes](http://www.myspace.com/happyrhodes) a new home studio and then sponsor her so that she can quit her day job and do nothing but make music. Sponsor a world-wide tour_ while you’re at it, ok? Seriously, if I won the lottery, that’s what I’d do. Other than going to see movies, and buying DVDs, books and CDs, I’m not a material person. I don’t need or want cars, houses, boats, jewelry or fancy clothes. The only thing I’d use money for is to pay bills, travel a bit, and be Happy Rhodes’s platonic, no-strings-attached\*\* sugar mama. \*I’d have to go with her, of course, as a…um, personal assistant, yeah, personal assistant. And my husband too, he’s her, uh, official videographer! \*\*well, maybe first-listen promos, that’d be good. ---

Except I’m aiming for the long end; I’d like a Canon EF 600mm F/4 IS lens, with 1.4x and 2x teleconverters to match, and a tripod that can support the weight of that beast. I don’t want to be greedy and ask for an EOS 1D Mark III as well, so I won’t. I wouldn’t mind my student loans paid off, either, come to think of it. Sigh. A job for my husband that pays him a decent salary and that he enjoys and is good at. You don’t have to hire him yourself; just a little money under the table to get somebody to take a good look at him and see all his fine qualities (intelligence, work ethic, levelheaded) instead of just sticking his resume in the round file with all the rest. ---

You know, I almost asked for a job. That would have been quite selfish of me; I can get another job. But if you could set up a fund to pay for my kid’s college; something that wouldn’t point so terribly to the fact that their old man was a failure; and was bullied, beaten and humiliated in the process. Perhaps to one of those expensive schools, where they’ll learn all the guile and deception and political posturing they’ll needed to succeed ( to conquer and rule over those still left with principles, honor and ethics). If I but had one wish for each of them, I’d pray Og they never end up like me.
