The dancing is no more cheesy than “real” Irish dancing. The girls and boys (and women and men) who do Irish dancing display real talent but the get up they have to wear most of the time is just awful in my opinion. Celtic twilight cornball stuff and the wigs, good god, the wigs!

Though I must say that Disney-on-Ice was a highlight of my childhood. Though that was 40 years ago and I don’t think they do that anymore.
