Search Ebay or Yahoo Auctions for “Jackass VCD”. Some guy made a fairly professional looking compilation complete with covers and was doing pretty good business before MTV shut him down. The CKY videos are readily available as well. ---

I just got back from Jackass: The movie, and it was the funniest movie I’ve seen in a theater since the first Austin Powers. I had it pegged as a frat-boy flick, but it was fantastic! The whole theater was collectivly laughing, cringing, groaning, shrinking in their seats – when was the last time you were in a theater that lively? Shamefully clever bits combined with pieces of sheer shock value, but they work _so_ well together. Granted, it’s a ‘check your brain at the door’ movie. See it in the theater, because the collective “laugh, cringe, laugh, groan” is have the experience. ---

ROFLOL. I swear, I’ve been conditioned to the point where all I have to hear is “Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville” and I start laughing. He says it with such irony, yanno? I knew when to close my eyes. Although I wasn’t prepared for that one guy to actually shit his pants. I loved the ballistics guy. Knoxville: “Is this considered lethal?” Ballistics guy: “We consider it less lethal.” _Than what?_ being the unspoken question. When Margera’s dad was on the toilet in all his “glory”, not knowing a camera was still on him, I was like, “Dude, you are so out of the will.” I loved the store clerk confronting the shoplifter, too. I wouldn’t mess with that guy if I was for real. Kevin Dunn is H-O-T hot. ---

Forgot to say: I bet 90% of the budget went to that rental car. And 90% of the humor of that was in the payoff: “Well, when I drink I black out…Yeah, I signed the paperwork, but I’d had a few when I signed it…” ---

I want to see this, but need to clear up just one thing…I can’t _stand_ when people creep out/scare/etc. unknowing passers-by and I need to know that all stunts involve basically torturing themselves, but not freaking out like little old men or something. (I say this because I remember in the TV show there was some bit they did where a Big Guy–like 6’3" 250lbs–was following around random people on the street, blasting “Shaking that Ass,” and never saying a word. It made a few unknowing participants more than a little unnerved to scared, including a little old man…all I could think was if that was my grandfather, I’d go after Big Guy with cheese graters…) But hey–a guy dressed as an Oompa Loompa skateboarding…now that’s comedy! ---
