It has been [announced](http://news.excite.com/news/r/011204/03/film-gleason) that [Nathan Lane](http://us.imdb.com/Name?Lane,+Nathan) will portray The Great One. I hope they get Christopher Lloyd to play Art Carney.

Really? At 63, I’d have to say Christopher Lloyd’s a little long in the tooth to play Art Carney during his heyday (he was 37 when _The Honeymooners_ began airing).

Sure, he’s getting old but he definately has the ability to portray both Carney and Carney as Norton.

How about Ryan Stiles? He’s tall and loose-limbed enough, although I have no idea whether he could play the serious parts.

If you think casting Art Carney will be tough, try coming up with Audrey Meadows – a smart, attractive redhead who can play funny and dowdy.
