If you’d like to see Brel as an actor, his best film is without a doubt [L’aventure c’est l’aventure](http://www.amazon.com/LAventure-Cest-Lino-Ventura/dp/B0000A0WH9/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-0390636-3754061?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1193697115&sr=8-1). Unfortunately though, I don’t think it’s available on DVD with English subtitles. But the movie is hilarious.
