Also (unless Bajorans are especially strong), the depiction of her as capable of beating a male having more than one and a half times her mass wasn’t believeable. I’d buy it for a Vulcan female, because it’s a racial characteristic. However, it seemed to be specific to Kira, not Bajorans. ---

Agree on Janeway and Kira. Also, on Jadzia (although, as attractive as she was, Ezri was even better). Both had great personalities. If I were to get stuck on an island with one, I’d prefer Jadzia. She was a badass, but also very non-puritanical. ---

There is no fucking contest. Jadzia Dax is the my favorite Trek character of all time. 1. Brilliant 2. Culturally competent (Ferengi and Klingon friendly) 3. Extremely laid back and open-minded 4. Tough as nails 5. 8 lifetimes of experience 6. Beautiful, and reminds me of my Aunt when she was young, who I worshipped like an older sister. I’m rewatching Season 2 of DS9 right now and having bad flashbacks about the end of Season 6. The only other thing that pisses me off as much as Jadzia’s death is X-Men’s Inferno and the character assassination of Madelyn Prior. ---

Jadzia was bolder, more confident, and I like the idea that she could kick ass with a funky looking sword or a starship. To paraphrase “A Prarie Home Companion” though: Ezri is still breathing, and that is convenient… Anyways, at the moment my favorite Trek girl is Doctor Noel from the TOS episode “Dagger of the Mind”. Overall I might have to give it to Major Kira. The perma-scowl is cute on her. And the fact that she’d break my arm twice if she head me say that is also hot. ---
