I was listening to KCRW this morning and they were broadcasting a retrospective of Hoagy Charmichael for his birthday. (I thought he was born on the 11th? Well, maybe it was a rebroadcast.)

Ian Fleming wrote that Jame Bond bore a resemblance to Hoagy Carmichael. When I look at Fleming, it seems to me that he bore a passing resemblance to Carmichael. Something about the eyebrows. Kinda-sorta.

Just a thought.
