Peter Cushing managed to reprise his role as Grand Moff Tarkin in _Rogue One_ despite having been dead for 22 years, so it’s hardly unprecedented for the dead to rise for a film role. ---

Ever since I read [_Remake_](https://www.sfsite.com/~silverag/willis.html) I’ve wanted the ability to swap out any actors I want in a movie. The technology is getting there. ---

The Hollywood Reporter article I linked to says that a human voice actor will be used. Obviously this is a publicity stunt. I know that I’d never have heard of the film, especially not this early, without it. ---
