What on earth causes you to behave in such a bizarre manner using someone elseā€™s real name? Show some courageā€¦ Change your user name to your own. At least you wouldnā€™t be hiding behind poor Mr. Ottoā€™s name. You have given me the idea of making sure that J.O.S.H. does not post on every message board in the world. So every time I stumble on a message board, I will sign up using J.O.S.H. this will at least force you to choose another name that wonā€™t show up when someone googles J.O.S.H. if ONLY someone would have had the chance to orphan that name on this board before you showed up. But alas, no such luck. Just so you know, I really donā€™t know much about your personal or political views other than your love for J.O. and the few posts of yours Iā€™ve been unfortunate to stumble on. And you are correct about the ignore feature. However, I would think someone like you would WANT people to read your postsā€¦ I mean, isnā€™t that the whole point of joining a message board? One Saturday I was walking down a very crowded street when I saw a man on the sidewalk holding up a megaphone and preaching the Gospels to all and sundry passing by. Of course, because the sidewalks were so crowded he was shouting his amplified message at people who were often less than five feet away, and I saw person after person wince in pain at the high volume of his pronouncement delivered at close range. And while youā€™re not shouting in peopleā€™s ears, you are certainly demonstrating the smug sanctimony of a person saying ā€œIā€™m going to tell you about the Lord whether you like it or not, and if you find me annoying thatā€™s your problemā€. You either donā€™t realize or donā€™t care that the picture that youā€™ve built up of yourself here - and this is entirely based on your own posts, not the posts of your other detractors - is of someone who talks about the Lord to make them feel good about themselves and not to teach others. Teaching others is _hard_; it is done by example and by listening to others, and not just by cut-and-paste sign-offs and country music lyrics. Iā€™m offering this as a genuinely constructive criticism.
