I am not getting bogged down in this pit bullshit again. This criticism is disingeneous. Some members on this board (it’s always the same ole names) like to use any excuse (whether valid or not) to totally bash and smear my character. Jamie, once again I offer the combined wisdom of the SDMB and the world: Shut your cakehole and let the world move on, because all will be forgotten when the next trainwreck comes along but only if you SHUT UP. You might even be right and I would still offer this advice, sometimes the only remedy is to let go of needing to be right, of needing things to be fair, of needing to be understood correctly and simply SHUTTING UP. In case you are NOT CLEAR. this is a time to SHUT UP. ---

Just because you have good intentions doesn’t make it OK to behave in any sort of manner to get your point across. The whole reason people jumped on you is the “awkward wording” as you put it. I might refer to it as “blunt and insensitive” and so would a few others. This is the point that you don’t seem to be taking on board. It’s great that **Frank** accepted your apology and I don’t want to harp on that particular exchange any more, so I’d rather steer this conversation to a more general place if you’d care to continue. I think you should try and see if there are ways you can communicate better without being so abrasive. People will be more willing to accommodate to your handicap and give you the respect you think you deserve if you show them some respect first. ---
