Sounds like the plan to march to the Capitol building with the Proud Boys and other armed insurrectionists was being formulated on Jan 2, and was known to senior Whitehouse staff. ---

What happened in the Beast (presidential vehicle) after the rally: Trump thought he was going to the Capitol after the rally on the Ellipse. Trump was irate. “I’m the f’ing President, take me to the Capitol now.” Trump grabbed the steering wheel. Bobby Engel told Trump no, we’re going back to the White House. Trump then allegedly lunged at Bobby Engel, reaching for his clavicles. ---
