It sounds to me as if the Oath Keepers are looking for any excuse to bust heads, shoot people, and blow stuff up, if I’m understanding Mr. Van Tatenhove correctly. ---

You guys are finding these yahoos persuasive of something? “Uh - we were a bunch of dolts!” Even Ayres says he now feels “Not so much” that the election was stolen. And t-shirt boy is just spouting his personal conclusions. I guess I don’t understand the evidentiary value - just to prove that people were stupid enough to believe social media? Does anyone really doubt that? ---

What has not been mentioned is that Stewart Rhodes once lived in Van Tatenhove’s basement for a stretch. I’m sure he aspired to do whatever it took to rise from his circumstances. So to speak. ---

I think it’s meant to demonstrate Trump’s very strong influence on these supporters. So that Trump’s actions directly and predictably caused violence and lawbreaking. ---

Having someone polished and eloquent may actually be _less_ persuasive than someone who’s stuttering and not especially perceptive. ---
