I have one of her albums, “Fictions”, where she does a wonderful version of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon”. What a beautiful voice. She was a talented and accomplished artist, and a complicated, colourful lady who led a full and interesting life. . ---

From what I’ve heard of her work, that’s her typical style, but she can also be more forthright, as in, for example, the track “Home”, the first track in her “Fictions” album. A beautiful voice there, too. I don’t claim to be all that familiar with her work and history, just saying that I admire her from what I do know. ---

I was never a fan, but I’ve always really liked this song, even when I was way too young to understand who she was singing about.
