(I didn’t see a thread on this.) Jane Fonda was arrested Friday near the U.S. Capitol for protesting inaction on climate change. [Jane Fonda arrested at climate change protest - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JddAPPlX9sY) Her eighty-second birthday is coming up in two months. _ **82 years old and she’s still protesting.** _ I’m not even 70 and couldn’t do it. Arrested or not, she plans on protesting in the same spot every Friday. Kudos to an American heroine. ---

I had thought she had gone over to the evangelical dark side, so I was surprised at this. I know some evangelicals do give a shit about the planet, but they seem to be rare. ---

Well, first, ya gotta have netflix…then… Honestly, I’m so out of date, I don’t even know if I’m back style again. 😉 I’m not sure why I thought she had died, i just know that I did. Probably got her conflated with someone else, maybe her dad? ---

Peter Fonda, her brother, just died this summer at the age of 79. He was still working and his last film is yet to come out. ---

I don’t hold Hanoi against her. That was a long time ago and things change. She looks better at 82 than lots of people half her age. That isn’t what octogenarians used to look like. ---

The impression I have of Jane Fonda is that she’s not as intelligent as she likes to believe. So she doesn’t always completely understand the positions she’s advocating. ---
