I need a letter to reach Illinois from Okinawa, Japan. Does anyone have the experience or any idea how fast the delivery could take place? I can’t find much on the goog. On Japan Post’s website they quote 1-2 days for China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea, but not other locations.

4-5 days seem typical, in my experience, for Tokyo to the US. If you need a faster guaranteed service you should consider FedEx.
