The maneki neko is traditionally a calico cat, so that’s close. But it’s also traditionally a bobtail, and Kitty In 3D has a full and expressive tail So, kinda close. ETA: look, it’s a cornfielded zombie resurrection. ---

Since this thread was just bumped after a year I thought it was a new thread about a third cat billboard. (And this is another thread showing Discourse’s idiotic use of date stamps. I thought this thread had been revived because the giant 3d dog billboard installed over Shibuya station.
