**buttonjockey308** , you reminded me of one that used to get our batallion commander’s eyes to bleed. This was my Platoon sergeant’s fave (we were an M.I. unit and so were a slightly different shade of green from the real killers): 747 rolling down the strip MI Daddy on a TDY Trip Sit down, buckle in, order up a drink Say, “Hey steward, whaddaya think? Whaddaya think about you and I Joinin’ a club called ‘the mile high?’ Mile high is a club renowned for rockin’ & rollin above the ground.” and then: If’n I was really dumb I’d go to work in the old S1 Fillin out paperwork all day long Fillin out paperwork and doin’ it wrong If I had me a low IQ I’d go to work in the old S2 Handing out access left and right Handing out access to the other side If I had me a low GT I’d go to work in the old S3 Daily rewrite the SOP Daily gettin’ troopers pissed at me If there’s ever a shootin’ war I wanna work in the old S4 Way back safe behind the lines Way back safe where the livin’s fine Of course, S1-4 can be substituted with G1-4 if it’s a Division/Brigade run and the General’s running with the MI unit. Trust me, this can be done without losing rank. 😃 ---
