I’m trying to consider what should have been Kelce’s response? ISTM that there were two acceptable things to do: Ignore the clown and keep walking, or Confront him and demand an apology. I think the latter would have been the wise choice, but if the guy doesn’t apologize, then what? ---

I wonder if he’s on edge about something else and took it out on this person. Rather than being upset about this specific and particular insult, he was already about ready to blow his top and took out his anger on this person. I would have to assume that every pro athlete hears stuff like this all the time, both from the crowd and from the opposing players. Trash talk is a normal part of pro sports. I doubt this is the first time someone in the crowd said something insulting. Athletes shouldn’t act like this for the simple reason that the opposing team and fans will ramp up the insults to throw a player off their game. Players need to just let it roll off their back and do nothing. ---

Is Taylor Swift ripped like those women? I don’t pay much attention, but in pictures I’ve seen, she looks fit and slim, but not ripped and muscular. Are fit and slim women just as threatening to incel assholes? ---

Interestingly, so far, ESPN is not commenting. What everyone so far has missed is that Taylor Swift is a frequent target of “transvestigators” who promote a conspiracy theory that many (many!) famous, powerful women are actually trans women. The extreme-r version has them being part of a cabal and they went trans in trade for their fame and power somehow.
