There was a PC Mag alert last month about a hole in Java, along with the recommendation that users download a patched version. So I went to the [linked site](http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html), but I can’t figure out which one I need. 😕

I know I don’t need a development kit, 😉 but is J2SE v 1.4.2\_06 JRE what I should get (the choices on the linked page aren’t the only ones available? Am I complicating this myself, or what?

:smack: :smack: :smack:

Haaaaaaalllllp!

_Please??_

Try [this download page](http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp) instead. Just pick the version for your OS.
