So that’s the calisthenics. [/QUOTE] You know, those look weird, but I bet they really help with getting the rhythm and cadence of English, not just the phonetics. A lot of the reason it’s hard to understand people who speak X as a second language is that a native X speaker is expecting a certain rhythm, and when it’s not there, it doesn’t matter if the sounds are technically perfect, it’s still hard to understand it. ---

The Al Pacino and Christopher Walken recreate great moments in history clips (particularly “The Silent Birth of Suri Cruise”- just enter Pacino Walken and it’ll bring it up) are my favorites for the funny. Of course if you wanna see some REALLY REALLY free _nauseating_ web stuff- I won’t link because neither site is work safe, repeat- NOT WORK SAFE!!! but x tube dot com and porno tube dot com are both, as their names would imply, x-rated sites that copy youtube in that they’re free and allow submittals. There’s a clip of a woman with an… octopus… a friend sent me the link. I won’t describe it other than to say- I couldn’t even look at the freaking Internet for a week I was so disgusted. That poor octopus. Let’s just say you can summon it up by using the title of a James Bond film. And I’m not talking about DR. NO, though the word “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” does describe it better. ---
