One would naturally think that ALL music would want to have Hammond Organs involved. I would think that all musicians would be lining up to play Hammond Organ, but cruise through the majority of “Jazz Festivals” listed in Down Beat magazine, and see how many organ-combos you find. Sweet Basil - I scanned the pages of performers and no Hammond Organ players jumped out at me, unless you count the Hammond State Strawberry Jammers. But there are about 25 gospel groups performing every day. If they don’t have a bitchin’ organist behind them, I don’t think they’d be considered godworthy enough to play. ---

can we have a little more info? The site doesn’t seem to offer such tidbits as cost, location etc. The list of performers is certainly tempting… And what would be the condo costs? ---

The location is New Orleans, Louisiana, USA at the Fairgrounds. If you go to the link above, click it, and push the word that says “tickets”, you will find the cost. I met with my accountant yesterday to go over my taxes. Turns out that no, I am not going to New Orleans in April. I probably shouldn’t even go to New Jersey in April.
