As I posted in another thread, I think that Vance’s political goose is cooked if he divorces Usha and then marries the grieving widow Kirk, even if he waits an appropriate amount of time. (not sure what that time might be in MAGA land.) But, as has been suggested, if she leaves him, then it would be perfectly acceptable for him to woo Miss Erika. In fact, it would almost be like it was ordained. ---

iMO this is Vance, who knows exactly (or has a better idea than the general public) how sick Trump is, trying to carve out a Maga following for himself. He’s thinking about the 2028 election, a year or two after Trump’s demise, he thinks becoming Kirk’s successor, by marriage, will help him. A good chunk of my social media (and IRL) friends think this is a Hamlet thing, and he isn’t just taking advantage of Kirk’s demise but engineered it. That seems very unlikely to me (not that they wouldn’t do such a thing, but pulling off a perfectly executed conspiracy leaving a Patsy to take the fall would require a level of skill and discipline completely absent from anyone in this administration) ---

I have a feeling that Trump has been impotent for a very long time, assuming one could even find his equipment under those 230lb of skin, etc. (I had actually thought about starting a thread about this subject, specifically the speculation about the state of the Vances’ marriage, but didn’t want to be pitted myself, like I have been with other threads, so I waited for someone else to do it first. MHO: It’s none of my business, and wouldn’t be if I knew them personally. I do feel bad for the kids if any of this is true.) ---
