From a NYTimes interview behind their paywall:
I’m one of those guys that spins through the clicker when I’m watching TV. When one of my movies comes on, I’ll watch a scene or two. With “Lebowski,” I’ll say, oh, I’ll just watch [John] Turturro lick the ball. But then I get hooked. Each time you see the movie, it’s richer.
The Dude Abides. ---

Not so much: [Jeff Bridges Muses on Guns, Trump and Adoration for the Dude](http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/07/movies/jeff-bridges-steps-back-in-the-boots-again.html?_r=0). The paywall I mean. I have read it and don’t have an account. Unless there is more elsewhere? ---
