Leslie Wexner, billionaire founder of The Limited, [sent a letter](https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/07/business/wexner-epstein.html) the other day to his foundation that accuses Epstein of stealing “vast sums of money” from him. Doesn’t explain why Wexner gave him so much access to his money, property and so forth. Or why Wexner didn’t say anything when Epstein pleased guilty to solicitation in 2008 and had to register as a sex offender. ---

One interesting thing is that the portion which has been released is basically just Giuffre’s testimony and her lawyers’ product. And, notably, it’s relatively unredacted. My guess would be that each involved party was given the chance to review their own material for redaction. Giuffre, it would seem, was fine to go public with exactly what was already in there. My assumption would be that everyone else, Ghislaine, Dershowitz, Andrew, etc. are coordinating their work to make sure that there’s a consistent story and that anything that would harm one of the others is redacted. We’re liable to not get too much damning from the remaining material. But I do imagine that it will all be much more redacted. ---

It also looks like Trump and Giuffre never met, so we probably can’t expect anything to come out in regards to him. One article noted that the release of the documents lifted some gag orders from other witnesses. In theory, they might be able to reveal some more information. But my guess would be that they’re all covered by other gag orders for other cases against Epstein (past or present). They can talk about things revealed by Giuffre, but probably not other things. Probably, we will need to wait to see who gets indicted and who then, subsequently, flips. Trump is probably safe until at least that point. And, possibly, even then. He had his own modeling agency. He didn’t need Epstein and his tastes leaned older. ---
