When I first heard that he had exposed himself on the call, I thought either he was only wearing a shirt and underwear didn’t realize the camera caught him from the waist down, or I thought maybe he took a leak with the door open and didn’t realize his camera was on. I was very prepared to give him a pass on those incidents in these weird time, BUT then I heard the details. ---

I’ve spent entirely too much time on Zoom calls over the past 5 years because my first thought was that you can’t be on two different Zoom calls at once with the same account, and my second thought was to wonder if he has separate work and personal accounts… ---

You are nver naked by mistake on your Zoom call, never. His pants didn’t come done. Your kid/wife/milkman can be naked and inadvertently walk in camera, but you, never. And masturbating in front of other people, even if they can’t see it, is at best, extremely disrespectful at worst a sexual offense. It’s like jerking off inside your pants while at an office meeting. He should be fired on the spot and people on the other side of the call should be considering charges. This isn’t your porn mag on the shelf behind or having RedTube on your favorites when you share screen. ---

I probably have my eccentricities, but I have literally _never_ felt the urge to masturbate in front of other people. Especially while working. Still less while working _and_ on a conference call.
