[CNN story](http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/12/29/people.jennings.ap/index.html) The “Quest for Ken” begins in February. Ratings stunt? Hell yes. The Ken tournament will be in February (a sweeps month) and the showdown against Ken will be in May (another sweeps month). Who says programmers are are stupid? Well, I do, but this is marketing genius. ---

This really is a great idea. I know lots of people that are disappointed in Ken being gone. Jeopardy just isn’t as exciting. Better they do this now before everyone forgets about Ken and Jeopardy in general. Seeing a doper beat Ken would be great, as well! ---

Just in case you didn’t know, Bob has his own [blog](http://www.bobharris.com/) now (after guest posting frequently on Tom Tomorrow’s _This Modern World_). If you’re a Bob fan, you should check it out. Personally, I’m eagerly anticipating the return of Frank Spangenburg. I like Ken but I hope Frank takes him to the cleaners. ---

They call him the “fact checker” and he sort of does what MythBusters does, but without the expensive gizmos.
