has anyone seen the commercial where they use the part of jeremiah was a bullfrog ‘joy to the world, all the boys and girls…’ but it’s a punkish cover. does anyone know who does it? ---

I have no idea who does the commercial…but the song is **Joy to the world** written by Hoyt Axton. ---

It occurs to me that ol’ Hoyt may have screwed up. No one calls it ‘Joy to the World’, because there’s already a well-known hymn(I think) with that title. If Hoyt had had the foresight to call the song ‘Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog’, we’d all be much better off, don’t you think? Can’t he pull a George Lucas and change it retroactively? It would probably be worth big bucks to him. 😉
