Well, you kinda did. You know the smell of Jergens. Right? Kinda sickly sweet. I used to get pink cheeks in windy weather so Laura Lee Love(real name), our housekeeper would rub Jergens on my cheeks. I simply hated the smell. I vowed, as an adult I would never have that aroma in my choice of lotions. So no Jergens. None, nada, nil. Well recently Jergens has had a campaign. New _“Cherry-almond”_ I really like Cherry smells. Especially almond. Cute new bottle and label. Think I’ll order some off Amazon. (Or else I’d have caught the smell if I looked at it at Walmart) Exactly the same sickly sweet aroma. Oh come on! Jergens? Who do you think yer foolin’? That cherry-almond was always your smell. Classic. Says so right in the Wikipedia. Yeah, I shoulda did the research first. I know. I’m kicking myself. Bought a **BIG** bottle. Thing is, it rather nice lotion. I just can’t go the smell. New! Improved! Special scent: cherry-almond! Yeah, right. ---

I don’t know about “new-and-improved”. AFAIK, it smells exactly like it always did. My wife uses the stuff pretty much constantly and that’s the only lotion smell she’ll tolerate, so if they had done anything to the fragrance she’d have gone on the warpath. Truly, everyone needs to be deeply suspicious of anything proclaiming itself “new and improved”. ---

I remember loving that smell when I was little. I have always loved anything baked with almond extract. I’m probably destined to die of cyanide poisoning. ---
