Sky and all her friends need to die in a painfull, slow, yet entertaining fashion. Or better yet “they” can come and just pillage the town and slaughter the townspeople. ---

So what happened in the discussion between Hawkins and the John Doe Zombie, our local CBS affiliate kept breaking into the show with updates on a cop that got shot in Portland, Me, and they chose to break in just as Hawkins got mad at John Zombie, so i missed what happened ---

Hawkins knew Victor. Hawkins was mad at hime because he went back to Denver when they agreed “only families”. Victor told Hawkins that there was a “traitor”, but died before mentioning his name. ---

I think Mayor Dad’s speech was even hokier than the one in the premiere. I didn’t think that was possible. “We’re fighting for our humanity!” Oy gevalt. Loved the way the dark turtleneck in the dark room made him look like he was a disembodied face floating in air. Like that scary floating face dude in Time Bandits. (I just gave myself the heebie-jeebies. That movie scares the bejeebers out of me.) But wouldn’t it be great if brain-craving zombies really did show up? That would rock. ---

I’m disappointed that Dale didn’t take his food with him when Skylar told him to leave. I don’t get why Hawkins’ family needs a cover story. Who cares where they lived or where his kids went to school? “You’re from Memphis? Oh, you must be a bad guy.” Makes no sense. Dale didn’t explain how he got the food five miles to town. We haven’t seen him drive anything. He walks to Skylar’s house. Nurse (doctor?) April didn’t leave any instructions on how to operate the hand-pump for the preemie. Is she the only medical staff? Nobody else was at the clinic when the bombs dropped? ---

Someone had bombs planted all over the US and was trying to blackmail the government; the government tried to stop the plot, failed, and now Hawkins and his buddies would get strung up and flayed if anyone ever found out. ---

[/QUOTE] I dunno, that doesn’t really fit with the concepts of “there’s a traitor among us” and “the rally point isn’t safe.” I think these guys either had something to do with the bombs or else they were trying to oppose someone else who did and who wants them dead because they know too much. ---

I’d like to see them explore the refugee issue in more detail–but then, that would be difficult, since most of them would croak before they reached Jericho. Makes you wonder, though. Would the town take people in and try to help them, or seal themselves off somehow in an attempt to save those who already live there? Man, I’d hate to be Hawkins’ wife or kids. That guy makes me nervous. ---

This show is perilously close to losing me. The show isn’t terrible and I do have lots of questions but Skeet walking into the bar and giving that speech almost made me throw up. I don’t think Hawkins is a bad guy seeing as he has helped the town on occasion. If he had any part in the bombings, I would think he’d just shut up (which he seems to try to do half the time but his conscience seems to get the better of him and he feels the need to help out - or something). Other than ‘he’s not bad’ I really dont’ have a friggin clue what’s up with his situation. He confuses me. I may have missed something, I tend to zone out when watching this show. ---

I’m afraid you will have to do without my scintillating commentary on this show from now on. 😉 For crying out loud, it’s only been four days since the “bombs.” Heather had a broken leg, and she’s hopping up and down from a water truck? :smack: When you find yourself flipping during commercials to a _Scrubs_ rerun on local TV and not wanting to go back, you know the show has lost you. Farewell, _Jericho_. I really liked Gerald McRaney and I was hoping this would work, and I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s not working. ---

I haven’t seen him with a car. Maybe I missed it? He walked up to the train that was “five miles away” and saw it was full of food. I’m assuming, teenaged girls being what they are (and I used to be one, so I can speak a bit about this) if Dale had a car he wouldn’t be quite the geeky outsider that Skylar and her friends think he is. ---
